Hoffmann Giving more than power
14-Jan-2010 "Hoffmann International is in the fortunate position of providing South Africans with solutions to ensure life goes on during power failures and load shedding. Since the Hoffmann International dealership network is developing into one of the finest and strongest nationally and in South Africa, the company wants to do more than just give power solutions to its clients. It wants to make a meaningful difference in day-to-day living and more so in the lives of those dependent on the generosity of others. Hoffmann International is in the process of donating more than 50 power generators to selected charity organisations in the areas where a Hoffmann International dealership operators. Each dealership is requested to donate one set to Hospice and the second two generators to any charity organisations that it prefers or believes will benefit most from this generous offer.
The company understands that the need for comfort and safety is a universal outcry and is proud to assist some of the many non-profit organisations and known charities to do just that. Locally, Knysna Equipment Hire & Sales (PTY) LTD donated one generator to hospice Knysna, one to Knysna Aids Council and one to Vermont Old Age Home. Each recipient organisation received a 1.6 kVA generator during a presentation ceremony on 15 October '08 at Knysna Equipment Hire & Sales (PTY) LTD. Sister Alice Levendal received a generator on behalf of Vermont Old Age Home, Simone de Jager from Hospice Knysna Aids Council. The Hoffmann International dealership network is very pleased to present generators to support worthwhile causes, especially during the cold winter month when everybody is faced with the uncertainty of having power supply.
